We are your destination quilt store!Garment Sewing
Participants will learn to cut fabric using a pattern and then to follow the directions to complete a garment. All participants will use the same pattern but may choose the size they want to make. This class will NOT teach how to alter a pattern. While not all patterns fit everyone, this is a class to teach the skills, so if your size is not included in the pattern, plan to make the garment and gift it.
Participants must have minimal sewing experience and have a working knowledge of their sewing machine. They should know how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, and sew a straight and zigzag stitch
Supplies needed include:
sewing machine in good working order (needed for session two)
scissors
pins
fabric marker
Thread
Measuring tape
3-yards of fabric
1-yard of interfacing
All supplies are available at the store and can be purchased at the first class.

| Skill Details: | Participants should have some experience with sewing. Anyone totally new to sewing should first take the Beginning Sewing Class. |

| Instructor Bio: | Ann has been sewing for many, many years. She has a vast knowledge of all things sewing! She makes bags, garments, quilts, stuffed animals and anything else that catches her eye. Students always enjoy her in class as she shares her knowledge in a patient and encouraging way. |
