This class will teach the Laura Heine method for creating beautiful collages. Participants will choose their own pattern and fabric prior to the first class. Many of the collage patterns call for scraps, so search your stash! There is also preparation to be completed before the first class which includes watching a video and preparing your fabric with Steam a Seam.
Participants will need the following materials for the class. All are available for purchase from our store.
— scissors - Karen Kay Buckley blue handle scissors are recommended
— rotary cutter, cutting mat and ruler
— pencil
— silicone fuse mat
— appliqué pressing sheet

| Skill Details: | There is no machine sewing until the product is ready to be quilted. So, this is a class for all skill levels - even people who do not sew! |

| Instructor Bio: | Terri and Brenda became Laura Heine certified instructors in 2021 and have enjoyed offering classes across the southeast. Collage is a favorite of theirs, and they love the way it allows each person to bring their own creativity to the project. Collage is not a paint by number, and Terri and Brenda love to see how differently each pattern is completed by class participants. |
