Beginning Quilt Top Piecing
Ann brings her years of experience to the classroom to teach beginning quilters how to properly piece a quilt top. She clearly explains how to properly measure using a quilting ruler and accurately cut fabric using a rotary cutter. Ann also teaches how to properly line up fabric pieces and how to sew using a 1/4” seam. Participants will need a sewing machine. However, if you are interested in this class and do not currently own a sewing machine, just let us know, and we will have one available for you.
Required supplies:
Fabric kit for quilt top - this is included in the final price for the class
These items are also required and may be purchased at the store. We request that you purchase these from us if you do not currently have them:
Ruler - either a 6-1/2 x 24 or an 8-1/2 x 24
Rotary cutter - preferably either a 45 or 60
Scissors
Pins
Small cutting mat - we will have cutting mats available for use
