Beginning Sewing
This class will teach the basics of sewing including using a pattern, picking fabric, laying out and cutting according to the pattern as well as how to follow the pattern to assemble the garment (pajama pants). We will also include a basic introduction to your sewing machine. Your machine needs to be in good working order. If you do not own a machine, we will have one available for you to use. Ann has years of experience as a seamstress and loves to bring this knowledge to the classroom. The hands-on experience plus Ann sharing many of her secrets means that participants take away more than just basic knowledge!
Supplies needed include: scissors, straight pins, and fabric marker
Fabric, pattern and thread will be purchased in the first class.
