QUILT TOP 101

If you are new to quilting and have never constructed a quilt or just want to hone your techniques, this is the class for you. Students will learn basic skills in using a rotary cutter and ruler, how to mark and organize your project, basic quilting vocabulary and how to sew using a 1/4" seam. At the end of the class you will have a completed 48"x57" quilt top using Tilda fabric and information on how to complete a finished quilt! The class consist of two sessions.

Our Block of the Month is the Solare Quilt pattern using Banyon Batiks. This beautiful 99" x 99" quilt is ideal for any quilter wishing to expand your techniques. Each month you will receive the materials and pattern for the block(s) to be completed that month. We will offer a class for anyone wanting to work on the block in a class setting but will also offer the kits to be picked up and completed at your leisure. The cost of each month is $49.95 payable at class. The last kit will also include backing material!
